2012 Tool Dealer Expo
The Fuller Hot Rods Rodan CB 836 motorcycle sits on a stage awaiting it's new owner to be drawn from a container of prize tickets.
This past weekend, I photographed the 2012 Tool Dealer Expo for the company I work for. You can view my image gallery by clicking: here.

The Abstract One
I took this long exposure (6.8 seconds) in my Mustang six years ago. The reason I've kept this image is that I always saw a numeral one when I looked at it. Just thought it was kinda cool.

The Alpha and the Omega
An image that I made six years ago in my apartment. I found this clock in a home interior store at the mall one day on my lunch break. It's generic brand name of "alpha - omega" is what got me to purchase it. One of those serendipitous finds.
Revelation 22:13
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

Just Chill
If my cat had her own book, this is what the cover would probably look like. She enjoys her life.
Another image taken with a Nikon D80 with the 50mm lens. While I was reading one day in the sitting room, Mackenzie was chillin' on the floor. I had the camera ready just in case she did something cute. I wasn't disappointed.

Window Gazing
Mackenzie gazing out the back door window on a stormy, Memorial Day Monday afternoon.
This particular image was taken with a Nikon D80 with a 50mm fixed lens attached.
My favorite cat of all time just celebrated her 3rd birthday yesterday. She has it good.

D Street
The other week, my wife and I celebrated her birthday by watching "The Hunger Games" at Downtown Disney. After the movie we strolled around to some of the shops and found one called, "D Street" which featured this chandelier of upside down Mickey's. I had to capture an image of it. While there, I bought a cool, retro looking t-shirt with Donald Duck on it with the phrase, "The original 'Angry Bird'".

American Bald Eagle
My parents recently came down from Pennsylvania to visit Sandy and I for a few days. My Dad, who is an avid wildlife photographer, brought down some of his big glass to share with me on some photo excursions.
One morning, we went to a part of Lake Kissimmee known as Joe Overstreet Landing. Dad used his 600mm lens while his 400mm was enough for me to capture my first good images of a wild American bald eagle. What a beautiful, majestic animal.

MAN
The photo of this earth mover's wheel was taken six years ago in Lakeland, Florida. An old favorite of mine.

'54 Belair
I believe this is either a '54 or '53 Chevy Belair. I just like the plane screamin' across the hood. Another archived treasure that I never posted before. Taken over five years ago.

Pinwheel Blur
Camera on tripod with 1.6 seconds on the shutter. Empty fair style ride doing it's thing at Old Town, over two years ago. Choppy, short sentences in this post.

Apartment Window Silhouette
I captured this image five years ago when I was a single bachelor living in an apartment in Lakeland, Florida. Though I was on the third floor, I had a tall palm tree outside my bedroom window that would always grow it’s branches out and create silhouettes with the glowing, morning sun. This was my view on many a morning as I prepared for work.
I lived in that apartment for seven years, it was a special season in my life full of blessings. I grew in many ways and became the man that my wife would meet in December of 2007.
My life has changed a lot since those days. I still pass by my old apartment complex on my way to work each morning. There have been a few times as I’ve passed by, that I’ve thanked God for the season that place represents in my life and that it ended well, culminating in me meeting and marrying Sandy.

Christmas Spinner part 2
I've called this post "part 2" because it's actually the second time I've posted this image. Except this time, I put a little twist on it with the selective color effect, which as you know, I love doing.
Click here to view the original image and read more about how I captured it way back in 2006!
It's funny what I say at the end of that post about wanting a real tree again someday. My own tree looks more like this now (click here), which is exactly what Sandy and I wanted.

Morning Light
Of course, today is Thanksgiving. I hope everyone has an enjoyable one wherever you may be today. This week we had a special Thanksgiving service at church. Our pastor asked us to think of three things that we're thankful for right now and tell someone around us. The three that immediately came to my mind was my wife, my health and my family.
What three things are you most thankful for today?

Furniture Store Art
Spotted this scene as my wife and I browsed an American Signature furniture store over the weekend. I had to capture the red shadows on the floor.

Holding Time
Taken in Chicago in 2004 outside of Tiffany & Co. I'm not sure who the statue is supposed to be, but it looks like Christ holding time to me. Time is in His hands.

Mercury Trunk Ornament
From deep in the archives, a vintage trunk ornament on a Mercury. The cool, Mercury dude is what drew me to take this image.
