Alien World

Here’s an image from my archives, it was taken at least two years ago. I had noticed these flowers while walking around "Lake Mirror" in downtown Lakeland. As I was shooting some macro images of them, this bee happened upon the scene, being busy about his business. It was a chance encounter with this life form from a tiny world that ended up giving me a great image.

His world is alien to mine and mine to his.

Awesome macro Chad. I guess we can all say we've seen an alien now...

Nice shot, Chad. I am anxiously waiting on some bees here in Ohio. Anything. But the flowers got to bloom first.

I can say that I have a grease sandwich recipe under a Canada Goose.

Awesome, man. Was that taken with a point and shoot or do you have a macro lens for your SLR?

Good job either way!

Nice photo. Looks like that bee is so busy doing what he's doing, that he didn't even notice you.

Good bee shot! They're not easy to catch so sharp.

Great catch. I really need to get me a macro lens. The one I have gets decently close, and I guess I could crop from there, but I'd like to get this look in the first place.

I love the sunlight in this one too.

This picture is incredible! As much as I hate bees, this turned out really well, haha.
