This is another object from my Gram’s house that I photographed over a year ago. This candy dish of sorts originally belonged to my Great Grandmother at one time. It’s amazing how it can still capture the eye and imagination.

A wonderful dish to have in your family. It goes very well with your last post.
This is a beautiful piece of glass art. I love having things that have been in my family for so many years. The craftsmanship is very different from today.
I need to start looking at my dishes more carefully! I love all of the old glassware from the past - as well as just about everything that is antique. I have some pretty depression glass dishes that I should try to photograph sometime.
glass and blue..it doesn't get better that that for moi!!! lovely capture....and we sure will love to meet up with you sometime, Chad. I'll definitely let you know whenever we make it to your parts .....:)
I do like these last two glass pictures, the first shows the colours beuatifully, and this capture the texture so well. I do like you eye for a picture. Have a good week end Chad.

Maybe she could take this to the Antiques Road show and see if it's worth anything more than sentimental value! Very cool.
Now I'll definitely go for the dish instead of the candies Chad kekekek.....
Now I'll keep my eyes open for some glasses that I could capture next :D
Ok, these last two are wonderful. The colors are spectacular! I love antique hunting and I love colored glass. Nice capture Chad!

WOW that is a lovely dish!! I love the colors.. Isn't great to have family heirlooms.. I just think that is soooooo awesome :)
It looks like a landscape... nice shot.
Good one, so very colorful!
Interesting perspective! Cool shot & love the color of the glass!
More eye candy. It looks like it's reflecting something blue nearby. In any case; it's a nice picture.
That's just the type of dish one would expect to be found at someone's grandmother's house.

Another good one!
Very pretty, great patterns.
My Mom, Mother in Law, and Grandmothers all loved glass bowls and things like this. We have a couple of pretty items from them put in a safe place.
