The 28th

Exactly five months from tonight, I will be married to Sandy. The girl I love will be my wife and I her husband. It will be the beginning of a totally new life for her and I, but I am completely at peace to be embarking on this adventure with her.

When I’m with Sandy, I feel at home…yet on vacation all at the same time. I’ve been telling her this a lot lately.

Earlier this evening, I received a phone call from her, she was getting ready to have dinner out with her Aunt and Cousin. She had called to let me know that she just bought her wedding dress. She said, “You’re going to love it!” “I’m sure I will”, I replied.

At the end of our short conversation, Sandy said to me, “I’m excited to marry you.”

…I’ve been letting those words sink into my heart all night.

And there you go!

Wonderful story!

I am so excited for you both! It is a fun time that will go by way too fast and then you look down at those shiny rings on your finger!

I was only engaged for four months so I loved that by the time I was finished planning...I was married! No waiting for me!

oops...I came home from work tonight and realized I had your blog 'open' from coming here last night! Ah well....I could read about this kind of love 24/7...

My daughter (someday) wants to get married at Christmastime. I can't wait to see photos from your special day...though it'd be funner to see it all in person! ;-)

I'm thrilled to be able to witness such a beautiful love story - and how blessed you are to be living it.

It must feel so good to have a date set. I know about what you mean about feeling on vacation and at home all at the same time. I'm lucky to have found the same this spring. It's been the best summer of my life. I am happy for you both!

You've been quiet Chad. But it comes almost as punctuation to your wonderful story. Of course good luck and best wishes to Sandy. And when you're ready... if ever.. Tell us more of the rest of the story.
